Watermelon Punch Recipe~

Can’t bear this heat anymore. Sun is going CRAZY this summer! Temperature is increasing day-by-day. 😦 The hunger for food has vanished… Only thing I look for is cold drinks or juices to soothe myself. I tried a few homemade fruit juices too. I’m gonna share one of those juice recipes today. It is – Watermelon Punch. It takes only 4-5 mins to prepare this juice! Here goes the recipe ~

Ingredient:

  • Watermelon cubes (18 pieces)
  • Cucumber cubes (3-4 pieces)
  • Lime Juice (1/2 teaspoon)
  • Honey / Sugar (As per taste)
  • Ice cubes

Method:

  1. Put the watermelon and cucumber cubes inside a blender
  2. Add honey/sugar and blend it well
  3. Strain the juice
  4. Add lime juice in it
  5. In a glass, put the ice cubes and pour the juice over it
  6. Watermelon Punch is ready. Cheers!!

Important Points:

  • Seeds must be removed properly from watermelon
  • If you like pulpy texture of your juice, skip point no.3, don’t strain
  • Sweetness must be well-balanced in the juice, so add honey/sugar carefully

 

I like having fruit juices rather than fruit salads. This Watermelon Punch is perfect for these hot summer days. It’s a easy-peasy recipe with very few ingredients and takes a small amount of time. Watermelon Punch is enriched with goodness of fruit and is a great way to beat the heat!
